The Fanad Lodge B&B - Donegal Town

The breakfast offered was quite good and varied.

The room had a persistent damp smell, made it uncomfortable to relax. The shower lacked proper temperature control, a real disappointment . I also noticed that the towels were worn and stained, not what I expect from a B&B that promotes high standards.

It was in the remote location on the Fanad peninsula👌

Everything met needs well, I will definitely visit place next time. This location was absolutely perfect and good, really close to Fanad and Rosguill and an easy drive to the famous Fanad Head lighthouse. There was lovely food, the staff was accommodating and pleasant.

I loved the spacious room with a beautiful sea view! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the iconic lighthouse. Breakfast was good. I thoroughly enjoyed an omelette in the newly renovated cozy breakfast area.

The setting was perfect, really close to the Great Pollet Sea Arch, the Fanad peninsula and a great beach. The food was AMAZING with a lot of choice! The staff was excellent all day long.

I stayed here 1 night and liked it. Helpful staff that liked their guests. Its location was nice and quiet, by beautiful nature...

The view was nice, but the shower took ages due to low water pressure, which doesn't scream luxury. The towels looked like they had seen better days, I would have expected at least some semblance of comfort for my 'special' stay. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't deal with the mediocrity.

The room was lovely with central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a sitting area.

Honestly no reason to complain. Lovely area, remote location near the Fanad peninsula and a beautiful area. The rooms with good view. The staff were very welcoming and nice and helped us with private parking.

The rooms were impeccably clean and the staff, including Brendan, were warm and cute. I particularly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and the delicious, hearty breakfast offered each morning.

The cozy bar had an atmospheric vibe, and the sea views from our huge room were fine.

I loved the spacious common lounge and the cozy kitchen where I could whip up a quick snack! There are great spots to relax, like the beautiful garden and the inviting playroom. The shower could have had better pressure, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. 😊

The room was beautifully decorated and located conveniently close to a peaceful beach. On the downside, the bed could have been more comfortable, and a bit more variety in toiletries would have been appreciated.

We discovered great prices at the Fanad Lodge B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is absolutely perfect, offering a serene atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature. Plus, Preston Docks is just 3 km away, making it convenient to explore. The bar was enjoyable and staffed by very helpful individuals.

Just an appropriate option for a transient visit in Donegal Town with good value. The breakfast was good and varied, really kicked off the day right. Bring your own toiletries since they were quite limited.
